wednesday is perfect for me as normal

car, dont mind. although lotus 2 eleven is good

tuning is an absolute must. this is such a big part of the game that it's a shame to be kept stock. i like others have spent tons of hours learning how to tune and to not be able to use this dissapoints me.

    tracks, dont mind.

class definately no higher than A but pref B.

any car for me as long as it`s stock........it`s been a fantastic couple of weeks for those of us not only competing on the night but throughout the week concentrating on racecraft and lines rather than who has the better tune......it`s back to basics and the best form of racing around at the mo

I agree with mark, as long as its stock i dont mind what cars we use, i think A class or S class would be best so drivers ability would come threw when controlling the rear end (RWD of corse),no TCS ,STM ,ABS. If tuning was allowed then maybe limited to certain parts and with a base setting we could all use.

if drivers ability is to be tested then surely drivers tuning can be tested also.
some drivers will not be able to control a rwd s class car which im sure you can because you have suggested it. this is then your strenght and you want to use it to your advantage which is fine. but tuning and not driving is my strenght so i want to use that to my advantage.
aside from that tho i think rwd in s class will have a limited succes of sign ups.

also everyone knows some one who will throw a tune together for them if they cant tune themselves so should be no worry really.

How can you ensure people will use this tune for a race?

set the settings to certain weight/power/ ect ect and if they get caught using a different tune then you will be chucked out the season!

The Clio's sound great. What about a one off Stock Car race? 50 laps around Sunset could be intesteing when poeple team up to draft, pits etc for changing tyres.

go give the clios a go mate, on my storefront build is free!!

We probs wouldn't run a one off race unless it was Race of Champions, but if you do a little sign-up thread here: http://www.highoctaneracingclub.com/gaming-chat-f7/
    then people might sign-up

Yeah I'm all for the clio's. Great little car and with the slight adjustments that can be made will make it more realistic and have people fine tuning for tracks...... Bring on the CLIO'S Smile

dont underestimate the difference tyre pressures, aero, brakes and diff tuning can make to a car for a given track.

i have to say tho there is no way you can police who will be running your tune. the build will show up the same but thats all you can see.

anyway tho it sounds good to me and i'l be giving the clios a crack later.

just out of curiousity tho has your clio got the base tune???

if not its been tuned by someone to suit their preferences so they will have an advantage. just a thort if your going to prohibit tuning.

ive done a few races tonight in the clio and its a good car. i;d have no probs in running a series in this car.

its faster than the leon and takes a slight bit more throttle control in the corners to spiceup the racing a little more.

the feed back that you have just given us is the same as every, we even had a comment from emos saying 'they are angry little hairdryers which put most of the lobby in laughing fits.'

the build hasn't got a tune it is a stock tune so people can work from sratch

why don't you have a series for racers and another for tuners. i personally love tuning cars but i understand that some people just don't have the time to tune cars. also a bmw m3 in a class rwd would be good.

Right here we go i hope this helps people. The way i look at is...
Wednesday - FWD - Clio Cup (tuning allowed)
Sunday - RWD - TBD (stock tuning)

i definately think tuning allowed on the clios is a good thing. theres such a limited amount of changes to be made that even a non tuner could be given a tuning lesson for these parts in 5 mins.
