Sutton, who won the UK Super One MiniMax title in 2007, has opted to end his karting career due to budget restrictions. He has signed for O Sport, the team run by reigning Vee champion Sam Oliveira, and will race a new Storm chassis.
“Karting is horrendously expensive at the higher levels so switching to cars makes sense,” the 16-year-old’s father Warren told Motorsport News.
“We went to the Vee Festival last year and liked the atmosphere. The class is good value and there’s great racing throughout the field.
“We plan to do at least one year in Vee to give Ashley knowledge of all the different circuits. If it goes well we might look to put together a deal for him to do the Formula Ford Festival in October.”

I had 15 laps as we had problems i was about a second off, i only drove the track 15 laps and i have new brakes so was pissing around with them but, im happy with that as it was my first time at the circuit and i was still learning.
